Hack the Process

Sometimes you need to name a phenomenon before people can admit that it’s real. That’s how Dr. Joy Wiggins and Dr. Kami Anderson approached the challenge of writing “From Sabotage to Support,” a book about how women of all backgrounds sometimes sabotage each other in the workplace, and how recognizing this reality can help them become more supportive. In this episode of Hack the Process, Joy and Kami tell us how they approached the challenge of writing collaboratively from across the country, why they decided to work with a publisher instead of self-publishing, and what unanticipated microaggressions came to the surface in their own process while they were working together.
